Pillowcase Campaign
UPDATE - July 19, 2010
I,m sorry to say we haven't collected any pillowcases in a few months.
Remember, this is an on-going campaign, and we will continue to collect pillowcases throughout the year. Updates will be posted periodically, so you can know how we are doing. We have collected 72 so far.
This is the time to think about the fall Holidays. Wouldn't you like to see these kids smile during their in the hospital over the Holidays!
Let's all get busy and make just one more!!!!
It's inspiring and motivating to be a small part of an endeavor that will put smiles on childrens' faces. June, Vickie, and I (Linda) can't thank you enough for your contributions so far.

CUSTOMER REWARDS
Since last website publication, we have had to set new parameters yet again because of the software changes were not fully understood. Sorry folks! REALLY!
Beginning April 1, 2010, we will no longer have a way to track the multiple discounts that we have offered previously. Therefore, we have had to choose among them and will no longer offer a discount to Quilt or Sewing Guild members. HOWEVER, all customers will continue to earn a 25% discount when yardage accumulation reaches $250 AND a Birthday discount equal to half of a customer’s age.
Three caveats: 1) discounted fabric purchases will no longer add to the total accumulation of the reward goal, 2) the earned 25% discount is good for three months only and does not apply to classes or consignment items, and 3) only one birthday per customer screen can be tracked, so each customer must have their own identity.
Those who currently have an unused 25% yardage-accumulation discount have until June 30, 2010 to redeem them.
Thank you for your understanding and thank you so, so much for your continued patronage. We appreciate you sharing your wonderful works of art with us and keeping us inspired!
Quilt All Day
Every Thursday of the month, except for Holidays, Project Queens meet here at the shop from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to Get-R-Done! It has been a real success. Projects are being worked on and completed without all the distractions from home, and we have a few good belly laughs sharing stories. What a beautiful group of women!!! We are so lucky.
Bring your projects, your sewing machine and tools and supplies. If you plan to stay the course, pack a lunch or visit one of our wonderful, local-area restaurants for your luncheon enjoyment. Two doors down is a hotdog vendor with grilled hotdogs and brats. The sauted onions are a fabulous treat, cooked in his secret ingredient... he might even tell you what that secret is.
Let's get those UFOs done and start planning for Christmas 2010. Yes, I said 2010. I didn't get finished for 2009. Did you?
Space is limited to 8 with sewing machines, so please call ahead and reserve a space. We could accommodate 10 or so who have only hand-sewing projects. Cost is $5 per quilter per session.
